Save $290: As of Nov. 28, the iRobot Roomba j7+ is available for $509.99 (typically $799.99) at Amazon thanks to a new Cyber Monday coupon applied at checkout on top of its previous Black Friday price. That's over 35% in savings.

The best-selling Roomba on Black Friday just got a Cyber Monday second wind in the form of extra savings.

Amazon has quietly tacked an extra $89.01 coupon to the Roomba j7+ on top of its previous Black Friday price of $599, where it has been chilling on and off throughout November. The coupon is reflected at checkout and brings the robot vac down to just $509.99 — a $290 (35%-ish) total price cut.

Mashable readers didn't hesitate to add the smartest Roomba to their cart when they saw it on sale for Black Friday. The j7+ was in the top three most-purchased products at Amazon on actual Black Friday, with the j7 (now down to under $300 with a new coupon) and new Combo j7+ also in the top 10.

Simply put, the j7+ is so popular because it's the best bang for your buck in the iRobot universe — and overall one of the best robot vacuums you can buy. Its most impressive trait is the way it avoids small obstacles that often need to be picked up pre-vacuuming with other robot vacs: namely pet waste and charging cords. iRobot is so confident in its PrecisionNavigation obstacle avoidance that it guarantees pet waste won't be smeared or the company will replace your vacuum for free.

The plus sign signifies that it empties itself, coming with an auto-empty dock that can hold at least two months' worth of debris before you have to do any emptying yourself. Like the other j7 models, the j7+ uses smart mapping to remember the layout of your house and clean specific rooms if necessary. Suction power wise, the j7+ is 10 times stronger than iRobot's entry-level 600 series.
